Meet the crew:
It was just little old me, Courtney: until about two years ago when my now fiancé; Josh and I got together- he didn’t miss a beat and immediately started to help with tracking, shows, and sourcing. And NOW I’ve been able to bring on my best friend since high-school, Sara. She helps with administrative duties, sourcing, packing, and slowly starting to help with processing specimens. So happy to have two incredible human-beings help me with the thing that gives me life. The support is unmatched.
Our ethics:
Starting with our specimens we personally process are all sustainably sourced {i.e: failure to thrives, old age, hunted for population control, or miscarried fetuses}. The taxidermy you’ll see is almost always second hand or sustainable for reasons listed above. All taxidermy and specimens are pre-treated with Dr. Killigan’s Six Feet Under natural spray for pest control; aiming to never infect Properly Grim’s personal affects or yours! All products coming from us are packed with extreme care and caution. All of our packaging materials are recycled// reused, as much as we’d like to have branded packaging it is just more efficient and better for the environment to use these materials to their full life.
